Adding a Pet Character

Pets make stories extra special! Here's how to add them:

1. Click "New Character" from your dashboard
2. Upload a clear photo of your pet
3. Enter their name
4. Set the role to "Pet"

Photo Tips for Pets

• Get a clear, front-facing shot of your pet's face
• Good lighting is important — natural daylight works best
• Avoid photos where the pet is in motion (blurry results)
• Close-up face shots work better than full-body shots at a distance

What Pets Work Best

ToonyStory works great with:

• Dogs — all breeds and sizes
• Cats — all colors and breeds
• Rabbits — bunnies make adorable sidekicks

Other animals can work too, but dogs and cats have the best consistency since our AI has the most training data for them.

Pets in Stories

When you create a story, you can assign your pet to a pet role. They'll appear alongside your child as a loyal companion throughout the adventure.

Pets typically appear in:

• Adventure scenes (exploring together)
• Bedtime scenes (curled up nearby)
• Key story moments (saving the day!)
